I AM NO BODY LIKE A HOUSE IS NOT A HOME is a collection of Mirjam Walter's reproduced sketchbook works, exhibition views, and text contributions about her artistic practice. The sketchbook, as an unfinished interstitial space, allows for an immediate negotiation of figuration and abstraction in the form of a distinct, independent language that emerges parallel to large-scale paintings. The overlying documentary photos extend the space into the exhibitions "Ein Leben bekommen" (Getting a Life) and "Coiling".
