I Wanna Give You Devotion

Philipp Gufler realized the installation „I Wanna Give You Devotion" in cooperation with the self-organized archive Forum Queeres Archiv München. The key element is the poster collection of the forum. The artist books combines historical posters/flyers and works by 29 artists and collectives, who Gufler specifically invited in order to question, actualize and expand on the poster collection. The artist book is extended through text contributions by Kerstin Stakemeier/Philipp Gufler, Laura Lang and members of the forum. It’s been published by Hammann Von Mier Verlag in the forum-series „Splitter“, which discusses historical and sociocultural issues and presents historical figures.
